Magic skein. That´s what the name Zauberball means in English. And the magic really works – at least on me.
I happened to look at my old hat pattern called Signe, that I made in black and white. Nothing wrong with that – but suddenly it struck me – how would that pattern look like in Zauberball?
I happened to have a little bit of a skein of Zauberball left and it was just enough for a hat. Magic!
I think that this colourway is my favourite – purple, pink, orange and yellow.
It´s really not the time of the year when one yearns to wear a wooly hat...
The colours don´t look very natural perhaps. They are kind of bright next to the grey-blue sea and grey rocks. That is – until you see what colours nature itself can come up with.
Hi, it looks really GREAT!!! Nature has an interesting palette and nothing ever looks unbalanced. It is truly fascinating how the colors mingle.

Wow, that is such a beautiful hat. I think using a colour changing yarn like zauberball really encourages our eyes to travel and follow the design more. It creates a strong visual impact, i love it!!

Fantastisk effekt - och vad kul det är att se vilken skillnad färger gör med ett mönster!

Stunning, as always, and as everything you make. :)

Så himla vacker kombination! Måste testa något liknande, har aldrig stickat med Zauerball själv, bara givit bort ett vackert nystan. Hur snyggt som helst!
