Last night there was a grand opening party here at the Born to knit-blog when the new patterns went up for sale at the web shop "The Loopy Ewe".
There are three new hat patterns and four new mitten patterns.
They are all in English and I still need to translate them into Swedish.
A bit weird perhaps, since Swedish is my mother-tounge.
But I never claimed I was a 100 percent normal.
I thought I might take the liberty to show you what I have been working on all summer:
The pattern for the dragon hat:
The pattern for the mitten that I named Märta:
There is Tyra:
And Hjördis:
Not all of them are pink. The exception is Inga:
The Hjördis mittens have a matching hat that isn´t pink either:
And finally there is Edith, also a hat that matches a pair of mittens:
Of course it took me most of last winter and spring to knit all this.
And it took me all summer to write up the patterns.
I know, a tortoise would be quicker. But they don´t knit, do they?
Now if you excuse me I have to get back to knitting on that sleeve with a really tiny gauge.
The result of one week´s hard labour is about 7 inches (almost 18 centimeters).
I knew you´d be impressed.
Wow!

Congratulations! I saw in an email from Loopy that your new patterns were up, so ran right over there and bought the dragon hats, and the Hjördis hat and mittens. Your patterns are so beautiful, how could I resist? Thank you for doing such beautiful design work!

OK - every time I want a pattern Loopy Ewe is out of stock :( Can't you just put it up for sale (with a download version) on Ravelry so everyone can get one...

Congratulations! I can hardly wait to make a dragon hat. Will any of your patterns be available to download on Ravelry, too? Also, thanks for posting such beautiful pictures from Sweden. My mom was from Hunnebostrand, and it's wonderful to see photos from her homeland.

Hi again,
Back after a very busy crazy summer. I've ordered the patterns for each the Hjordis hat and mittens and am now "patiently" awaiting their arrival. They look wonderfully beautiful.

I have just purchased your Dragon Hat pattern. I cannot wait to gather my supplies and cast on!!
The children in my family will be smartly accessorized this winter. :)

"Oh my Goood" som Lilla räkan skulle säga. Du är galet duktig. Om jag kunde sticka skulle jag sticka Dragon Hats och Hjördismössor till hela familjen. //Clarissa ps. Normal är ett ord jag hatar. Vem vill vara normal?

Will you please send Loopy Ewe more patterns? Or put them up for sale on Ravelry? I really want the Edith patterns, but I didn't get them from Loopy Ewe before they sold out.
Your patterns are beautiful!!!

Please make your patterns available as a Ravelry download.
I love your patterns and my favorite way to buy patterns is to download them to save postage costs.

Yes, it looks marvellous! It´s a real honour to have someone knit a pattern
of mine in Wollmeise.
A match made in heaven – don´t you agree ;-)

Yes, please make your patterns available as a download on Ravelry...I was disappointed to see that Loopy Ewe is out of the Edith Hat.

I would love to knit the Edith Hat and was very disapointed that it is sold out. I think you would get many, many, many more sales if you put them up as Ravelry downloads.
